Regularly spaced dots can be used to keep handwriting on an even keel, add structure to a table or checkbox layout, or give you the backbone of a diagram. What’s the purpose of a dotted notebook, you ask? Well. It feels like a blank sheet of paper… but with built-in autopilot. The dotted “bullet journal”-type pages however are the goldilocks option – a happy compromise between blank, ruled and squared pages.
